Early Childhood Educator – Permanent Position – 30hrs/week

• We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team in a full time permanent position at Goat Mountain Kids Centre in New Denver, BC! This position supports the main ECE in the classroom.
• Goat Mountain Kids Centre (GMKC) provides high-quality child care Monday through Friday, 50 weeks of the year. Located in Lucerne Elementary Secondary School, Goat Mountain Kids Centre is a holistic, child-centered, parent engaged child care facility. The Centre offers a multi-aged child care program (0-12 years; predominantly 12 mo-5 yrs). The Centre has two staff on site for up to 8 children, during the peak times of the day.

Salary & Benefits

• Full Time, 30 hrs/week, beginning August 17, 2026
• Hourly wage $26/per hour. $20/hr salary PLUS BC Wage Enhancement of $6/hr. An additional supplement of $3/hr may be available based on CBT Wage Enhancement program availability. Eligible for $1/hr raise following 6 months of employment.
• Paid Vacation and Sick Time

Qualifications

• Valid BC Early Childhood Educator License to Practice Required
• Current first aid certificate; Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR
• Ability to provide a clear criminal record check
• 2 Years of Daycare Experience Required
